Membership Package - Level 1
10-class pottery package for level 1 members
Service Description
Need your pottery fix on a regular basis? We have pottery packages available for both beginners and advanced students. At Padme Hum we do things a little differently to other studios. We believe that the way you learn and what you want to create is as unique as you are. Our small class sizes allow you to have plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor without the expense of a private class. Each package of 10 classes is valid for 3 months so that gives you plenty of time to use your classes, no matter what distractions might come your way. Our Level 1 Skills classes are perfect for anyone just starting out with pottery. You will learn all the techniques necessary to throw on the wheel or hand build your creations. If you are more experienced our Level 2 Skills classes are the perfect place to learn more advanced wheel throwing, hand building and slip casting. You can take home everything you make in class. What you create is only limited by your imagination. Want to learn how to sculpt beautiful hand-built pieces? We will teach you the hand-building techniques necessary to execute your vision. Want to create your new tableware? We will teach you the wheel-throwing skills you need to pull off the basic pieces. Are you all about the details and want to spend hours hand painting and carving your creations, or do you love that shiny runny glaze look? We don't believe in telling you what you should create, but we will teach you to master the skills you need to create it. Once you have mastered Level 1 skills we have our Level 2 class package. This is for students who need very little supervision to create their advanced pieces. Please check with your instructor if you are ready to take this class. You should book your sessions in this package as part of the 10 class package that you have already signed up for. Any questions, please reach out to us directly. Classes can be booked on a week by week basis. We recommend coming once a week in order to get the best results with drying and firing times, but when you come is up to you. A typical class schedule each week will be: Wed, Thur, Fri : 10:00- 12:30am Thur: 6:30- 9:00pm Sat: 10:30- 1:00PM Members can also attend Open Studio classes for $45 - class times vary. Please read our 'Frequently Asked Questions" before signing up and attending your first class.
