Service Description

Get your hands dirty, let your creative juices flow and have some fun in our relaxed studio setting. Your group will have one on one teaching from our founder Tania and her experienced staff. We make it very easy & fun to learn the skills necessary to make something you will love. Our 3 Day Intensive Hand Building workshop is the perfect opportunity to get into the intricate art of hand building. This course will focus primarily on flowers and small animals. You will learn all the techniques needed to create your own stunning floral displays allowing you to create the piece you have always dreamed off. In this class, we teach advanced hand-building techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab-making and use these to create sculptural tableware or home decor pieces. There is no wheel-throwing in this class. Our classes include everything you need to make your own little masterpiece, including all your material, tools, and firing. Allowing you to relax and have some fun without worrying about sneaky hidden costs. Working intensively over 3 days is the perfect way to master delicate hand building techniques such as flower building which have a tendency to dry out when left unattended. This course will allow you to explore this delicate medium and create something truly special to bring home. All materials and firing are included. Our class numbers are limited. To be fair on everyone you may change or cancel your booking up to 12 hours before your class. After this period you will be charged for your class.
