Service Description

Interested in trying out pottery? Or do you already love it but just can't commit to a class package? This option is definitely for you! Come and get your hands dirty and have some fun in a safe and friendly environment. Working with clay is proven to be therapeutic and reduces stress. There is something incredibly satisfying about shaping the clay into something you can use and enjoy. Well...don't take our word for it, try it out for yourself! We promise you it will be a memorable experience you definitely won't forget! In the class you will learn both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques, as well as experiment with various shapes, patterns, designs and tools. By the end of the class, you will have made 2 of your very own pieces. If you want to keep your pieces we will fire them and glaze them TRANSPARENT which will make them food-safe, microwave safe and dishwasher safe. The following charges will apply. $1.25 per piece + $4 per 100g (weighed and paid before first firing) However, if you wish to experiment with glazes and decorate your pieces, you may do so by booking under the option "Trial class Piece Completion" which will be $45 per person and there will be no additional firing charges. Things to note: 1. All clay, tools, transparent glaze and firing is included in the class. 2. Aprons will be provided upon request. 3. Nails to be short. 4. Booking of glazing session should only be done AFTER class dismisses. 5. Once pieces are ready for collection, please collect them within 2 weeks otherwise they will be recyled. 6. All participants are required to be 12 years and above. Please contact the studio if the participant is below the specified age. Class schedule: Wednesday & Thursday: 11:30am-2pm Saturday: 10.30am-1pm

Our class numbers are limited. To be fair on everyone you may change or cancel your booking up to 12 hours before your class. After this period you will be charged for your class.
